We arrived back from honeymoon this morning having had a really lovely holiday in Sicily.

I am glad that you emailed me with your request for feedback but had planned on writing to you in any case to thank you enormously for the contribution that you and the trio made to our wedding day. The communication that we had with you prior to the 'big day' was efficient and friendly. There has been a real willingness on your part to provide a service which totally complimented the rest of the day. I really appreciated the opportunity to be able to mention the sorts of music that we liked in particular, and was really happy to hear 'Have You Met Miss Jones' playing out whilst we were tucking into our sausage and mash! The trio provided a really great sense of atmosphere as the light jazz music filled the barn with entertainment whilst we enjoyed the wedding breakfast.

I also appreciated the fact that you were so willing to be accomodating. You were so happy to help us out with timings when there were last minute adjustments to be made.

Thank you so much for your professionalism and personal approach. We massively appreciated the contribution that you made to our day qnd we feel extremely lucky to have had the trio play at our wedding reception.

A mellow warm,sunny summer’s afternoon….with the Soul Jazz Collective providing the ideal background sounds for a traditional international event.Well that was supposed to be the scenario but in truth the SJC stole the show.They were always in the forefront and the assembled crowd representing 10 different countries from Europe and also South Africa and India simply lapped them up.

They were truly fantastic,capturing the mood and the atmosphere,playing a wide and varied collection of tracks with verve and style-true class.
This event has been running more than 40 years and some of the assembled crowd- myself included- have been present at up to 20 events in a dozen countries.One of my friends from our Finnish sister Club,Pargas Round Table 62, said that without question they were the finest Jazz Band he had heard at the event and he had been present since 1987- I wouldn’t argue with that!!

Saturday night far exceeded my wildest dreams! Soul Jazz Collective created
a perfect atmosphere - everyone really enjoyed themselves, even those,
especially those, who didn't think they liked jazz.

Thanks very much for accommodating all my whims, as well as accompanying all
the different guest acts. And for your excellent playing throughout the
evening. The sound was just right.

I'll book you again for my 75th!
